Cadence Design Framework II Help

The Cadence Design Framework II (DFII) Help manual is a comprehensive document on using Cadence DFII tools that can be accessed from within the Cadence environment.

You can access the manual in two ways :

• Type the following at the command prompt in any shell to open the stand-alone manual.
  

     	remote> openbook &
     

  The main menu of the manual will pop up as seen below.

  

• Click on the Help button on any Cadence application
  

  For example, if you click on Help in a schematic editor, the following help page shows up.

  

NOTE: If you encounter any problems with accessing the main menu of the manual, try typing

 openbook -quit
