This tutorial describes the steps needed for running a post layout simulation. This tutorial assumes that the reader is familiar with the topics covered in Schematics Tutorial and the Simulation Tutorial and that the reader has:

• Drawn a circuit schematic
• Created a symbol for the schematic
• Created a test schematic to simulate the design
• Simulated the design
• Generated a physical mask layout of the design either manually as described in Layout Tutorial or using design automation tools as described in Automatic Layout Generation Tutorial
